Made with solid rift-sawn white oak, this cabinet showcases the beauty in clean, simple lines. This is achieved through the expression of miter joinery throughout the case, from the top corners to the base. Lines converge at the bottom, drawing the eye up towards the door which features a single, striking line up the middle. The door and drawer pulls are made from a single piece of oak, playfully set off-center. The display space above the drawer features a removable panel and a maple liner to keep the space bright. This piece is designed to celebrate whatever is displayed and stored.
Made in Ash, this cabinet is design in a contemporary style. Deceptively simple, this cabinet showcases curves throughout. From the front, curved sides juxtapose the straight horizontal elements. Even the curved sides themselves are coved, presethe nting even the advanced woodworker with a brain teaser, wondering how it was done. The drawers defy convention, foregoing a divider between them in a nod to contemporary Japanese construction. The lack of hardware on the face maintains a clean look to the front of the cabinet.
This elegant design features a floating drawer with a very spacious compartment below. Exposed joinery in the upper case construction and in the top rail showcases the quality of craftsmanship in this piece. The frame and panel construction allows for a great deal of variation in wood choice.
Make in the Pekovich style, this wall hanging shelf features proud dovetail joinery and a simple Kumiko inlay in the side. Functional and relatively simple, it also features a beautiful shiplap panel made from a beautiful subspecies of cedar.
