Owner
My name is Andy Bowar. My passion for this craft ignited in 2017 after watching Paul Sellers on YouTube square a table leg. I fell completely in love with woodworking and have voraciously consumed as much knowledge as I can ever since. My background is in software development, which I still dabble in. My hope, however, is to make this business thrive.
Over the years I’ve built kitchens and made many pieces for friends and family, always trying to incorporate good design principles and heirloom-quality joinery.
In 2024, I was laid off from my job as a software engineer. This presented a perfect opportunity to spend 9 months at Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine training under woodworking legends like Philip Morley, Yuri Kobayashi, Adrian Ferrazzutti and others. Years of woodworking on my own primed me to get the most I possibly could out of this training and mentorship.
Now I work to bring your vision to life, whether through design and prototyping or through a finished, unique piece for your home.
